About The Role

bababos is now looking for an aspiring talent with business development and strategic partnership background to fill a Business Development position in Surabaya Area. The ideal candidate must have at least 2 year of experience in sales, supply chain, business development, strategic partnership or merchant acquisition. In this job, the candidate will be responsible for supplier acquisition and supplier partnership functions of the company also responsible for develop a network of suppliers to attract new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identifying potential suppliers based on business needs, goals, and current partnerships
  • Using data analysis and market research to identify opportunities for new suppliers partnerships
  • Managing long-term relationships with suppliers in order to increase sales opportunities and customer loyalty
  • Attend industry events and quarterly conferences and trade shows
  • Analyse market trends and recommend changes to suppliers strategies based on analysis and feedback;
  • Working with suppliers to develop business opportunities in existing markets or developing new markets for products or services

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's (or above) degree in any field.
  • At least 2 year of experience as sales, supply chain, business development, strategic partnership or merchant acquisition, preferably in Steel, Chemical or Polymer industry.
  • Have a good understanding of Steel, Chemical or Polymer industry, especially in market analysis, supplier sourcing and industry analysis.
  • In-depth knowledge of data analysis supplier management.
  • Have both excellent negotiation and communication skills.
